Support, advice, guidance

Improve your education initiative or develop a new project in collaboration with others members. Ask questions and share your story on our Facebook Community page. Contact our team to organise tailored consultations for your organisation.

Attend, present at and host events

Share your story and your work with our community at meet-ups, forums and workshops. The EDfutures team can also support you to develop, run or advertise workshops and other events for community members. Contact our team to tell us your event idea; let us know what you have to offer our community. Check out our news page for opportunities and events.

Community research

You are invited to participate in community research initiatives. We collect and share community stories throughout the year and support members to conduct research in their own schools, classrooms and organisations. Contact our team to share data from your own research. Listen out for Investigator-focussed workshops and opportunities.

Digital badge

You will receive a digital membership badge acknowledging your membership. As an EDfutures member, you represent an ecosystem of educators and education stakeholders who are challenging the status quo in education, building a future-proof education system. Your badge acknowledges your contribution to the ecosystem.

Become a Catalyst

Catalysts provide additional support to the EDfutures team. This may include advice on the strategic direction of the EDfutures initiative, help with organising and running events and outreach to welcome new members. Catalysts are also called upon to act as consultants in our community. You can nominate yourself as an EDfutures Catalyst or nominate another member.

Community resources

We are developing a cross-sectoral shared drive of resources that are WA curriculum aligned. This will include a spectrum of pedagogical approaches, from resources with an explicit and direct approach to each learning area, to resources that drive student inquiry, projects and an integrated approach to the curriculum. All resources are licensed under Creative Commons licence 4.0. You can access the community shared drive and instructions for use when you join EDfutures.
