WHAT

EDfutures Community Night: Christmas Party

Join us as we welcome the season of giving together with the whole EDfutures community! There will be all the usual Christmas-themed treats, along with some beer and wine to celebrate our achievements across the year – but this is a Christmas party with a twist.

Instead of the usual Secret Santa deal (where you carefully select a really thoughtful present and end up with a four-pack of baubles in return) we’re going to be running The Book Exchange. We want you to bring along a book to give away, and you’ll receive one back from someone else in the community. It has to be something you’ve read, and second-hand books are encouraged! In the spirit of EDfutures, we want it to be a book that’s taught you something valuable – but it doesn’t have to be about education!

At the Christmas Party we’ll reflect together on the year we’ve had as a community, and make some wishes for what we’d like next year to be!

Whether you’ve come to all of our events this year, or none yet, join us! We can’t wait to see you all there.
